I'm Jeannie, owner and designer of Simply Scripted Ink. I have always had a passion for the arts and anything handwritten, but it was just something that I did on the side as a hobby. After graduating from the University of Michigan, I pursued a career in the corporate world, then switched career paths and found a love for teaching. When my son was born, I wanted more flexibility and to follow a more creative journey. I took a leap of faith and decided to turn my dream into a reality. 

I am self-taught in calligraphy and hand-lettering and I love using my talent to bring back the classic art of handwriting. Simple, clean & beautiful is how I approach all my projects and I am passionate about creating pieces that are custom and meaningful to my clients.
